00:00The Armed Forces of the Philippines promised to continue the campaign to end the problem of insurgency in the country

00:09along with the weakening of guerrilla fronts as the anniversary of the CPP-NPA is approaching.

00:16This is what Patrick De Jesus has to say.

00:20The Armed Forces of the Philippines will not be trusted.

00:24Along with the approaching 56th anniversary of the CPP-NPA.

00:29This is even though the force of the group is weakening,

00:32where from the previous 7 weekend guerrilla fronts, only one is left.

00:37This is also the result of a stronger military operation.

00:40According to the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:44the problem of insurgency will end by the end of the year.

00:49The whole-of-government approach was also helpful, especially since the territorial defense needs to be focused now.

00:55What this means is that the weakened guerrilla fronts have no capability to conduct a large-scale operation,

01:03they don't have enough resources, and they can't recruit new members to join their force.

01:11As I said, we will not be trusted.

01:13We are doing this every year, so what we normally do in these instances,

01:21we still have forces that are detailed to look into all of these instances.

01:29Whatever comes out of our intelligence gathering, we will do it with the right attention.

01:36Meanwhile, the AFP assured that they will not destroy the trust of the public,

01:42especially since their 89th anniversary is approaching.

01:46And the AFP assured that they will remain professional despite their political activities.

01:53The AFP also acknowledged the efforts of each soldier.

01:57We saw that there were many typhoons that passed by.
