We start off with the new T&T Premier Football League season.

Defence Force got off to a good start with a 2-1 win against Police FC.

And in the other match Caledonia AIA beat Terminix La Horquetta Rangers 3-2.

We have the action from the La Horquetta Grounds.

00:00This was the TTPFL opener with Defence Force drawing first blood against Police FC.
00:05Kevin Molino pounced on this ball with the defence court napping.
00:08That made it 1-0 in the 37th.
00:12Then in the 84th, the Army Coast Guard outfit doubled the lead.
00:16The keeper played it long with Isaiah Leacock making the bustling run,
00:19collecting the ball and then outfoxing his marker before slotting it in to make it 2-0.
00:26But Police FC did manage to pull one back in stoppage time.
00:29Karim Freitas placed it in the far corner, but Defence Force took this one by two goals to one.
00:35In the other game, Timnix La Horcata Rangers got the opener against Caledonia AIA in only the 8th minute
00:40with Kishon St Rose doing the honours.
00:44But from the set-piece, Carlisle Mitchell would head home the equaliser for Caledonia AIA in the 16th.

00:53Then in the 52nd, La Horcata Rangers regained the lead courtesy Edwards.

01:21Marcus Joseph was the man to convert it in the 86th, giving Caledonia AIA a 3-2 win.
