00:00Ben Johnson was introduced today as the new head coach of the Chicago Bears.

00:06I don't know if you knew this or not, but there's a lot of Detroit fans who are very

00:09upset that Ben went to Chicago, a hated division rival in the NFC North.

00:16Here is Ben saying he wanted to stay in the NFC North for a variety of reasons.

00:23I know this is the toughest division of football right now.

00:26There's three teams that made the playoffs this year.

00:29I've got tremendous amount of respect for the coaches and the players in this league,

00:37having competed against them for the last six years.

00:40Dane Campbell, Kevin O'Connell, you're talking about two guys that are up for Coach of the

00:46Year awards as the season ends here.

00:49And to be quite frank with you, I kind of enjoyed beating Matt LaFord twice a year.

00:59Oh, be careful there, Ben, with the big smile on your face.

01:02Well, look, I said he's going to go there because of the rivalries and the ability to

01:09beat Campbell, the ability to beat O'Connell and the ability to beat LaFord.

01:15Those are all really good coaches, really good division.

01:19He's got a young quarterback stud, allegedly, but I think Daniels is way better than.

01:24But I think Campbell, you know, what he just did was close again.

01:29He lost the NFC title again, then blew it again this year.

01:32I think this team in Chicago's got the quarterback.

01:35They got the D that's, you know, I think needs a lot of work, but they got some star players.

01:40They got star corners that are shut down corners, some of the best in the league.

01:46And it was a, you know, are you kidding me?

01:49The Vegas Raiders, you were going to take that job over this.

01:53The Bears is much more enticing.

01:55And if you win in Chicago, believe me, you all right, let's just get real here for a

02:01second.

02:02There's there's New York, then there's L.A., then there's Chicago.

02:08And then people go to Vegas to gamble and to party and to get drunk and do drugs and

02:12have sex.

02:13They don't matter.

02:14They just don't matter.

02:15At the end of the day, it's a place to go vacation and party.

02:21But when you talk about big time, if you win in Chicago and people are still dressing

02:26like Mike Ditka from 1985, they still go to the games dressed as Ditka.

02:31If you win in Chicago, you're God.

02:34How did Michael Jordan do in Chicago?

02:37He was the king.

02:38He still is.

02:39He doesn't even have anything to do with Chicago anymore.

02:41And he's still God there.

02:43And Jesus rolled into one.

02:46Clearly you want to win in Chicago over a place like Las Vegas.

02:49This is where you go to party.

02:50I mean, I know they won the Stanley Cup, but let's calm down.

02:54They've never won anything else.
