00:00🎵
00:04Every story that we heard in the Give-A-Gift Alley in the Batang Pinoy Christmas Project
00:10reflects the determination of the students in the midst of the calamity.
00:15They are working hard to finish their studies.
00:20And because of our help, we can feel their spirit of giving during Christmas.
00:27🎵
00:31In the past, we used to dance to the rhythm of the wind,
00:41to the rhythm of the taste of the León and Marsa typhoons.
00:46It was amazing!
00:48We used to get so angry that we wanted to eat and watch the whole thing.
00:55This is the poem written by Teacher Roseline about the bitter experience of their school
01:02in Gonzaga, Cagayan due to the impact of the Marsa typhoon.
01:08The walls were flooded with water and sand, and the windows were broken.
01:13In Lemery, Batangas, the abandoned church of the Christian typhoon is still intact.
01:20The lands in their homes and schools are still covered by landslides and floods.
01:27Our whole life, we have been living here in Ayauhiyaw Elementary School.
01:33Our walls are all different.
01:36Despite these trials, the students' dreams and efforts were not in vain.
01:44To alleviate the trauma of the children affected by the typhoon,
01:48we gave gifts to 50,000 kindergarten to grade 6 students in the country
01:55under the Give-a-Gift, Alay sa Batang Pinoy project.
01:59We also visited the schools in the remote areas.
02:05With our help, our project for the first part of January is now completed.
