Alimentazione, Tapella: "Olio di palma sostenibile sicuro e rispetta l'ambiente"

(Adnkronos) - “Nel mondo si può trovare dell'olio di palma sostenibile che cresce in zone non deforestate, quindi il dire che l'olio di palma deforesta, distrugge attualmente è un errore”. Sono le parole di Vincenzo Tapella, presidente dell'Unione italiana per l'olio di palma sostenibile intervenuto al Sigep di Rimini al talk  "Olio di palma sostenibile: oltre i falsi miti, la soluzione che garantisce qualità, sicurezza e rispetto per le foreste e le persone”, organizzato da Assitol e Unione Italiana per l’Olio di palma sostenibile. Sono intervenuti Giorgio Donegani, tecnologo alimentare ed esperto di nutrizione, Massimiliano Majerna, Commercial Manager Vandemoortele, Carlotta Trucillo, Vice Direttore ASSITOL, Marcello Valenti e Lorenzo Righini, Ambiente e Sostenibilità Unigrà.

00:24There is a legislation, for example, on the 3M CPD and on the EGE made by the European Community,

00:30there are limits, so the palm oil that is circulating must respect these parameters.

00:36So we think today that we can explain to everyone what palm oil is,

00:43sustainable palm oil, and why we can consume it without health problems,

00:50nor to damage the environment.
