Gateshead and Hartlepool both held in National League: North East Non-League Football Roundup

00:00Following a turbulent January so far, Gateshead took the long trip to Yeovil town on Friday

00:09evening hoping to rediscover some form in the league to revitalise their promotion push

00:22table. Yeovil struck the post in the first half before Gateshead did the same as full

00:27time approached, before Will McGowan then forced Yeovil keeper Ollie Wright into an

00:32impressive save right at the death. As for Hartlepool United, they also picked up a point

00:37on the road over the weekend. For Pools, it was a trip to face a struggling Weldstone.

00:43The visitors opened the scoring through Gary Medin in the first period and could have been

00:47further ahead, but the home side grew into the game and picked up a deserved equaliser

00:52thanks to Enzo Bouldervine late on in the match. Pool remain in mid-table.
