Frozen pitch postpones Gateshead against Braintree

Gateshead vs. Braintree Town in the National League has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. Daniel Wales reports.

00:12has not been good and is not set to get any better, meaning that the pitch is not suitable

00:23League on 47 points, with Braintree just outside of the relegation places on 23 points.

00:31Gateshead were coming into this fixture off the back of being dumped out of the FA Trophy

00:41of the FA Trophy but now will be unable to defend their title. That game was played away

00:46from the International Stadium despite Gateshead being the home side because of a frozen pitch

00:51once again at the International Stadium. It was instead played at Stockton but on this

00:55occasion this is not possible.
