00:00Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark, we are at the Mahindra stall where we are checking

00:09out this.

00:10Now this is the Mahindra Trio Plus and this is an electric three-wheeler that's auto rickshaw

00:18what you can call it.

00:19So it's an electric three-wheeler and this is a commercial vehicle.

00:22So let me just quickly give you a small walk around of what you can expect from this electric

00:28three-wheeler.

00:29So as you can see that is the rear section, you have your brake light, indicator and reverse

00:35light all inside one cluster, you have the Mahindra badging over there and okay so this

00:40is a light for your number plate and that is how the thing looks like from the side.

00:45Let us move to the front and over here what you see is first of all it gets the Trio Plus

00:51badging right over here, you get a halogen headlamp unit with obviously there is no fog

00:56light over here.

00:57So that's the Mahindra logo, you get a big windscreen and you get a big windscreen wiper

01:01as well.

01:02These are the indicators again halogen indicators and if you come over here on the inside, you

01:07will notice that that is the exposed wiper motor.

01:11Now that's the TFT screen, that's the switchgear quality, I think that's the gear selector

01:16that says front, neutral and reverse.

01:19I think I don't know what this is B and E, I think some kind of driving mode and this

01:23is for your high beam, low beam, this is for your horn, these are for your indicators,

01:27that is where the key fob is and I think from here you can lock the handlebar, so basically

01:32you can see there are two key fobs and yeah there is some storage space to keep your phone

01:37as well.

01:38However, this is a three seater which has a door, so you can just pull this and the

01:43door will open and three people can sit over here and the driver can sit over here and

01:50you can see the exposed chassis right over here.

01:52So this thing is made out of cloth and yeah, the Trio Plus, now a little bit specifications

01:57about this, now best specifications about this is that this now has a hill hold assist,

02:02so what will happen is that if you come to a stop on a slope and when you hit the brake

02:06and you release it, so the vehicle will stop for three to five seconds until you accelerate

02:09it allowing it not to roll back, so that's a really good feature, especially when you

02:13have passengers sitting with you.

02:16Also here are the specification seats, so let me just quickly tell you, so it has a

02:20top speed of 55 kilometers an hour, the range, the real world range is around 150 kilometers

02:26that is on one single charge and the motor power is around 8 kilowatt hour, the torque

02:33is around 42 nm of peak torque and the battery capacity is at 10.24 kilowatt hour battery.

02:39However, you have drive modes, you have eco and boost, so that button that I showed you

02:42that was for the drive modes and yeah, hill hold assist that is a very very good thing,

02:47you have a ground clearance of 142 mm and a turning radius of 2.9 meters.
