00:33to introduce its new Konsultasyong Sulit Tama or Konsulta program
00:37which aims to provide health benefits even for non-hospitalized individuals.
00:43PhilHealth Marimduke branch head Joylyn Manrique explained during a Philippine Information Agency barangay forum
00:49that all Filipinos can access the Konsulta package by registering
00:53with an accredited PhilHealth Konsulta Package provider or KPP.
01:11The Konsulta package was designed to enhance healthcare access through improved health checkups, consultations,
01:19laboratory tests, and prescribed medicines as part of the universal healthcare law.
01:24In Barangay Bagakay, Buenavista, Marimduke, which was the first community visited this year,
01:29nearly 200 residents benefited from the program.
01:32The barangay, with a population of 1,343 across 319 households, warmly welcomed the initiative.
01:41Manrique highlighted that 87% of Marimduke's 246,699 population are already PhilHealth members,
01:49showcasing a high level of health insurance coverage in the province.
01:54PhilHealth has also scheduled visits to other barangays in Marimduke on Saturdays
01:58to expand the reach of the Konsulta program and bring healthcare closer to the community.
