00:30This was the story of a 27-year-old Francisco when he arrived at Naia Terminal 3 on September 25, 2023.
00:38He was just returning from a vacation in Sydney, Australia when he was accidentally hit by an escalator.
00:45I was in the middle portion of the escalator during that time.
00:49Then suddenly, the escalator suddenly stopped.
00:53So what happened to me, I brought my luggage, my hand carry.
00:58I fell down, I rolled down.
01:01Because of what happened, Francisco was interviewed several times.
01:05They cut my left foot from knee to down, which needed therapy.
01:12Actually, my recovery, my walking, I was limping.
01:17So I was always depressed about what happened to me.

01:30was expected to reach a sham-sham release.
01:33When they reached out to me, they sent me an email explaining that they will prepare my claim.
01:40But up to now, I haven't received any results.

01:51They were already aware of their insurance in regards to the medical reimbursement to Francisco.
01:56They assured that they are already processing a reimbursement of almost P25,000 for medical and hospital expenses.
