00:14In order to end hunger and provide food to Filipinos,
00:19Walang Gutom 2027 food stamp program in Iloilo Province has been implemented.
00:24290 beneficiaries received P3,000 from BAYAN ANG BATAD
00:29through electronic benefit transfer cards.
00:32In her message, the Department of Social Welfare and Development
00:36or DSWD Assistant Regional Director for Operations,
00:39Catherine Joy Lampreya, said that the program not only helps with food,
00:44but is also a symbol of hope and development
00:46to ensure that no child will be hungry.
00:49The DSWD encouraged the beneficiaries to use the aid they received
00:55because it will help with the nutrition and well-being of their families.
00:58Aside from the municipality of BATAD,
01:00the program will also be implemented
01:02to all local government units in the province of Iloilo.
01:06There are more than 43,000 household beneficiaries in Western Visayas
01:10where 10,000 are from Iloilo,
01:13more than 3,000 from Antiquia,
01:15and others are from Negros Occidental.
01:18The program was first implemented in Negros Occidental in 2024.
