00:00The Department of Finance, or DOF, Secretary Ralph Recto addressed concerns regarding the

00:04computation of the National Task Allotment, or NTA, shares for local government units,

00:09or LGUs, through a productive dialogue with city mayors. The Finance Chief clarified no

00:15changes or amendments were made, emphasizing the computation follows a Supreme Court ruling

00:21in a Development Budget Coordination Committee resolution created in consultation with LGUs.

00:27Meanwhile, local chief executives expressed their appreciation to the agency

00:31for its willingness to engage in dialogue and address their concerns.
