00:00The list of dollars' accomplishments last year is nothing to sneeze at.

00:052,000 job fairs held for 100,000 applicants, 60,000 hired on the spot for starters.

00:12Then, there are 100,000 labor cases resolved and tens of thousands of successfully repatriated OFWs

00:20from war-torn places reintegrated back with local jobs and livelihood.

00:32The Department of Labor and Employment will continue to improve services and programs

00:37that provide more opportunities for Filipinos to make a living.

00:41As part of the eight-point socioeconomic agenda of the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:47due to the advent of technology, the dollar will strengthen employment human resources development

00:52while providing technical skills and trainings to workers.

00:55Further attention will focus on protecting the rights and welfare of Filipino workers.

01:00Last year, the dollar resolved over 100,000 labor cases.

01:04Interaction with the international community will also be strengthened.

01:09First of all, we will be able to help in the realization of the goals and aspirations of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:20to reduce the incidence of poverty and to provide the expected assistance from the dollar.

01:38Support will also be given to providing assistance to those severely affected by the closure of Pogos in the country under Project Dapat.

01:45In addition, public-private partnership will also be bolstered,

01:49as well as retooling, upskilling, and retraining for all Filipino workers.

01:53Also, the career counseling and support development program for the youth.

01:58It will be able to help through the tight and strong coordination in the private sector

02:05to achieve more quality and permanent work.

02:09Providing livelihood assistance to the vulnerable sectors, such as senior citizens and persons with disabilities,

02:15will receive even more support.

02:17And ramping up digitalization in all agency services as part of ease of doing business,

02:23improving the Tupad program, and strengthening the Expand Kadiwa program in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture.
