00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wants to remove the programs of the Department of Social Welfare and Development

00:07under the Unprogrammed Appropriations in the next year.

00:11This is so that the Filipinos can benefit from the Government Welfare Program.

00:16Under the 2025 General Appropriations Act, under the 2025 General Appropriations Act,

00:26the DSWD's fund was reduced by P10.85 billion or 4.79 percent.

00:33So, from P226.67 billion under the 2025 National Expenditure Program,

00:41only P215.82 billion was approved under the 2025 GAA.

00:48The DSWD also received P41.8 billion in additional funds

00:53from the Unprogrammed Appropriations to implement the P4P Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program

01:00from August to December 2025.
