Tens of thousands of birds create shape of giant whale in stunning murmuration

Tens of thousands of birds swooped across the sky and formed the shape of giant whale.

The huge group, known as a murmuration, was captured on camera as they soared above Dongying in eastern China on 8 December 2024.

The flock can be seen moving together seamlessly, creating the shape of a whale which then slowly transforms into a snake, slithering through the sky.
