Looking for a job in IT? These European countries are desperate for new hires

Over two-thirds of large companies struggle to fill their IT roles. What are the highest-paid jobs? Which countries are most in need?

00:21The latest Eurostat data says 57.5% of enterprises

00:27are struggling to recruit ICT specialists, 20% more than 10 years ago.

00:35Large businesses are facing the biggest challenges.

00:3968% of them are unable to fill all ICT specialist positions,

00:45followed by medium and small-sized enterprises.

00:49The countries most in need of ICT specialists are Germany,

00:54the Czech Republic, Malta, Austria and Luxembourg,

00:58with at least 65% of businesses in these countries facing recruitment difficulties.

01:06The percentages are even higher for large enterprises,

01:1084% in Malta, 80% in Germany, 79% in the Czech Republic and 78% in Slovenia.

01:19The main difficulties in recruitment are a lack of applications,

01:24insufficient qualifications and experience and high salary expectations.
