these are the countries with the most open positions.

The IT sector keeps growing and many companies in the EU

are finding it difficult to fill all available positions.

The latest Eurostat data says 57.5% of enterprises

are struggling to recruit ICT specialists, 20% more than 10 years ago.

Large businesses are facing the biggest challenges.

68% of them are unable to fill all ICT specialist positions,

followed by medium and small-sized enterprises.

The countries most in need of ICT specialists are Germany,

the Czech Republic, Malta, Austria and Luxembourg,

with at least 65% of businesses in these countries facing recruitment difficulties.

The percentages are even higher for large enterprises,

84% in Malta, 80% in Germany, 79% in the Czech Republic and 78% in Slovenia.

The main difficulties in recruitment are a lack of applications,
