00:15According to new Eurofund research, around 1 in 11 workers in the EU is an INE, short, for involuntary non

00:24Basically, these are people who are stuck in part-time or fixed-term jobs, or both, because they can't find
00:30stable alternatives, like a permanent, full-time contract.
00:34And Eurofund says this is likely an underestimate. The real number could be even higher.
00:39Coming to the countries with the most unstable job markets, they're all Mediterranean, except for Finland.
00:46Italy tops the list, with almost 1 in 5 workers in involuntary non-standard employment.
00:51Spain follows closely with 17%, while Cyprus, Portugal and Greece all come in above 12%.
01:00The lowest rates of people in unstable jobs are in a central-eastern European.
01:08Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Estonia, all of them below 3%.
