00:00The Department of Agriculture BIFAR Region 2 received 8.9 million pesos for the Fisheries Livelihood Program in Batanes.

00:14The Department of Labor and Employment Odole Region 2, in the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Region 2,

00:22issued a livelihood check worth more than 9 million pesos for the program Sustaining Batanes Waters through Fisheries Livelihood Program.

00:31The so-called check was personally received by Dole Regional Director Jesus Elpidio Atal Jr.

00:37to BIFAR Regional Director Angel Encarnacion.

00:40Its goal is to support 11 fisheries and fisheries associations,

00:45of which 275 beneficiaries were affected by the floods in Julian and Leon last year.

00:54According to Atal, the Motorized Boats, Fish Processing Equipment, and Aquaculture Assistance,

01:03such as Tilapia Fingerlings and Feeds, are part of the program with the help of their partnership with BIFAR.

01:09BIFAR Region 2 and their field office will continue to provide assistance to the residents

01:17to monitor the sustainability of their project.

01:21We will still continuously assist Batanes by giving them some livelihood projects.

01:33Meanwhile, Atal encouraged to do good and take care of the so-called project

01:38for the development of fisheries and fisheries in the so-called province.
