00:00It's amazing the response that we have had to this campaign.

00:06I was an angry resident when I saw that they were about to sell off, hand over some of my favourite, most used car parks

00:15and give them to these horrible, horrible companies.

00:19Because we know what they're like, we know what they do, we know how they make their money.

00:26They make their money by giving people fines, people who are literally struggling anyway, economically, financially

00:36and then you get one of these fines, £30, £60, people taken to court.

00:41It is horrible, horrible.

00:43But I want to ask you a question today.

00:46Whose car park is that behind us?

00:50Our car park!

00:53So, who should be making decisions on what happens to it?

00:58We should!

01:00Who does the council work for?

01:03Us!

01:04Who elects them?

01:06Us!

01:07So, to all of those councillors who think they can sell off all of our car parks, hand them over, privatise,

01:16they keep pulling me up for the language, in my mind it is selling off because we will have no control,

01:22it will be private companies who are making the money.

01:25We are saying to them, hands off our car parks!
