A short motorised boat trip or dhow sailing trip takes you to a perfect sandbank beach surrounded by sea and usually totally private with just the odd local dhow sailing past. Here we set up shade and drinks and you are free to enjoy the clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, exploring and relaxing.
There is a transfer to this beach each day included in the Ibo Island lodge rate. The time of the transfer is dependent on tides and the weather. Snorkeling off the sandbank is great. All gear is provided, however you are also welcome to bring your own. Dolphins and turtles are regularly spotted from the boat.
