00:00The Department of Budget and Management assured that the education sector remains the top priority in the 2025 General Appropriations Act.

00:09According to DBM Secretary Amena Pangandaman, in the last competition of the Congress,

00:14it is clear that the allocation for education is bigger where it has an overall budget of Php 1.055 trillion.

00:24They have a higher budget for public works that received more than Php 1 trillion.

00:30Pangandaman also provided a new item in the fund that added Php 1.5 billion for the Connectivity Enhancement Program

00:39for e-learning in public schools.

00:42This will further improve the digital infrastructure in public education.
