01:03good luck with that. They needed to lose. I'll tell you, Ben, I've had this conversation with

01:08others. I am amazed that the NFL can do what they do, unlike the NHL and the NBA and Major League

01:15Baseball, where you don't make the playoffs, you put into a pot your ping pong balls in the NBA

01:20and NHL and figure out the percentages, how many ping pong balls you get. The NFL is just straight,

01:25whatever your record is, that's it, and tiebreakers, you know, strength of schedule,

01:29and why these teams that are in the playoffs, and we're talking about, you know, the New York

01:34Giants have been in the NFL forever. The Oakland, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, call them what you want,

01:39Raiders have been in the AFL-NFL forever. They know, Patriots as well, they know the importance

01:45of finishing, you know, with the first or second overall pick, especially this year,

01:49and yet those are the teams that just win games down the stretch that are meaningless.

01:55You accomplish nothing, Raiders. You accomplish nothing, Patriots. You know,

01:59the head coaches are going to get fired whether they have three wins or four wins or two wins.

02:04I don't think it's going to make any, like the Raiders all of a sudden aren't going to keep

02:07Antonio Pierce because they got four wins versus the two that they would have had if he hadn't

02:11won two of the last three. I'm amazed that these teams don't lose these games on purpose,

02:16like we see in the NBA all the time, right? But the NFL's lucky they don't have to have

02:23that ping pong ball situation because these teams all seemingly try and win.

02:28I think he'll probably be there. I think, you know, he deserves another crack, you know,

02:31one year for a head coach. He had a few games the year before, but they've gone through head

02:37coaches here, you know, so I would think he would get a second year.
