00:12Drivers and conductors of public places in Baguio City are conducting a positive drug testing

00:19conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Cordillera.

00:25Here is the report.

00:28Many public places are conducting positive drug testing.

00:34Four drivers have tested positive,

00:37four have tested positive,

00:39and four have tested positive.

00:42Two conductors have tested positive,

00:45seven have tested positive,

00:47and four have tested positive.

00:51More than 80 people have been tested positive for the city's four terminals.

00:57Travel is suspended,

00:59and citation tickets are confiscated for positive confirmatory tests.

01:05The first thing we do here at the terminal is the screening test.

01:09If there is a positive screening test, we proceed to the confirmatory test.

01:13Then we would forward the result to the LTO,

01:16and the LTO has the procedure on how to handle the positive conductor or driver.

01:23When the driver and conductor are submitted,

01:26they are also sampled before they are sent to the specimen where they will be tested.

01:31After they are sent,

01:32we are the ones who will test them before they are sent to the confirmatory test

01:35to make sure that the result is 100% positive.

01:39We will issue show-cause orders to bus operators,

01:44and of course, there are corresponding administrative sanctions for the driver and conductor.

01:49We know that this is their fitness as drivers,

01:54and the responsibility of being a PUB driver is big.

02:00That's why we need to punish them administratively.

02:04The passengers who are not yet allowed to enter the office for drug testing

02:10need to be made sure that they are really safe for the public.

02:15Actually, it's better because first of all,

02:18in case of an accident, and another thing,

02:21it's safe for the driver to drive because his thinking and mind are normal,

02:29and he's not afraid to drive.
