00:00In the last few days, the political events have become more than superfluous.

00:05The NEOs have, to my regret, left the negotiations.

00:09The Volkspartei and I, as Obmann,

00:11but still had the aspiration to try everything

00:14to form a stable and employable government.

00:17That's why we had another round of negotiations with the SPÖ today.

00:22Unfortunately, I have to tell you today

00:24that these negotiations have been terminated

00:26and will not be continued by the Volkspartei.

00:29It is obvious that the destructive forces in the SPÖ have won the upper hand.

00:34The Volkspartei can and will not sign a program

00:38that is economic, competitive and competitive.

00:42There has been no uncertainty about this at any time.

00:45The Volkspartei and our negotiating team

00:48have always played with open cards here.

00:51My election campaign and my political activity

00:54were and are shaped by being the force of the political center

00:58to build a bulwark against the radicals.

01:01It is my deep conviction

01:03that radicals do not offer a solution to a single problem,

01:07but only live from describing problems.

01:10This is bad for Austria

01:12and it is bad for the people in our country.
