00:06Is he determined to keep this war going for his own political gain and not reach any agreements?
00:14The hostage is a representative of the overall Israeli population.
00:17And according to public opinion polls, between 70 to 80 percent of Israelis want this war to end
00:23and want a deal to be done that would bring all the hostages home at once.
00:27Not this phased deal that will take weeks or months to implement and have a million points of exit from it.
00:32The public wants this war over.
00:34They recognize that Netanyahu wants to keep the war going because that's his political survival.
00:39That's what prevents us from going to new elections and from a commission of inquiry to be established
00:44that will hold responsible those who failed to protect Israel on October 7th and all the events that led to October 7th.
00:51So, yeah, Netanyahu has an interest in keeping this war going.
