Cambridge Street Collective: Kyoyu restaurant opens in the rooftop of Sheffield food court - and it’s rather special - video Dailymotion

Our reporter Sophie Mei Lan Malin went to Cambridge Street Collective to try their latest offering - Kyoyu.

00:00Food courts are big business, and that includes Cambridge Street Collective, which opened earlier in 2024.

00:09You can find a range of eateries, everything from fried eggs to roti canai.

00:15I revisited Cambridge Street Collective recently to try out their new offering.

00:21It's tucked away right at the top of Cambridge Street Collective in the rooftop part.

00:27It's called KyoYu, which basically means sharing.

00:31There's a new place in the mix now. Yes, I'm at the very top of the food court and I'm here at KyoYu.

00:38Sushi and barbecue, so we're going to be checking it out.

00:42It's a luxurious setting as food courts tend to go in the UK.

00:47But right at the top, you can see an open kitchen where they create a range of Japanese and Korean dishes.

00:55From sushi to food for the barbecue grill on the table.

01:00We wrap it in melt cheese and then we tempura the base, the roll.

01:06And then on top is pan-seared sirloin steak with oyster sauce.

01:11And then we top with black truffle mayo, kabayaki sauce, and on top is a pistachio pesto.
