00:00The Palace has approved and is currently reviewing the various provisions in the 2025 General Appropriations Act

00:11Secondary Secretary Lucas Bersamin is also reviewing President Marcos Jr. and his Cabinet's proposal for a national budget

00:22to ensure that it is in accordance with the Constitution and that it will be funded properly.

00:29Priorities of the bill, especially the legacy programs,

00:33were given by the President,

00:36while it is necessary to be careful in spending and programming the limited fiscal resources of the country.

00:46This budget is in accordance with several calls to remove possible unconstitutional items in the bill or budget

00:56before it is passed by the President.

00:59On the other hand, Malacanang remains positive that the 2025 budget will be implemented

01:08in accordance with the provisions of the Administration and in accordance with the Constitution.

01:14The General Appropriations Act will be passed by President Marcos Jr. on Monday, December 30.
