00:00We'll start Friday night, of course, Notre Dame beat Indiana 27 to 17 early in the game.

00:10Couple of turnovers back and forth, Notre Dame starting at their own two after picking

00:15off Rourke, Jeremiah Love going house 98 yards on Notre Dame radio.

00:23Jeremiah Love gets the carry, running left, has a hole, he's across the 10, he's blocking

00:27his own 20, he's down the sideline, it's a footrace, across midfield, 30, 20, 10, 5,

00:34you gotta be kidding me, it's a touchdown, 98 yards for Jeremiah Love, unbelievable.

00:46I thought the game was over right there, guy goes 98 yards, I was like, that's it, it's

00:52over, they're done, they'll never recover from that, and they didn't.

00:57They did not recover from that, Notre Dame ended up, then Riley Leonard ran one in, they

01:02had a couple, Notre Dame built the lead and was able to play really good D against Indiana

01:09for three and a half quarters and hold the game down.

01:12Now, a couple things, first of all, you know I love Cignetti, I love the job that he did

01:18all year long, and I think he's gonna, great what he's done in Indiana, he's gonna continue

01:22to do it.

01:23I thought he got way too conservative at the end of that, at some points in that game with

01:29punting and other things, I thought he, you know I know his offense wasn't doing much,

01:33but that was his team this year, the offense, and I thought he needed to give them a chance

01:37to go out.

01:38And the other thing I did not like, and this really went for, started the whole weekend,

01:43but it started Friday night, was people bashing these teams that lost.

01:48And Indiana got the brunt of it first, because they were the first team that lost on Friday

01:53night, and this started a weekend-long roller coaster of analysts and know-it-alls bashing

01:59the college football, but these teams didn't belong.

02:03Indiana went 11-1 this year, I know it didn't go well for them Friday night, but they belonged

02:09in the college football playoff.

02:10I know they had, they played a really good team, and they lost, I mean that's how it

02:14goes sometimes.

02:15It is what it is.

02:16I thought, you know, they didn't play well against Ohio State, they didn't play well

02:21against Notre Dame.

02:22Notre Dame's a better team than Indiana, and they were playing them in South Bend at Notre

02:28Dame Stadium, they had a nice little edge right there in itself, and I didn't think

02:33they did anything to win that football game.

02:36You give up the big 98-yarder to start the game, you're in trouble from the jump, and

02:41that's exactly what happened.

02:42I thought they gave them a game a little bit in the second half, and like I said earlier,

02:48I thought that they did better than everybody else.

02:50You can make fun of them all you want, they won 11 games, and then they lost by 10 to

02:54Notre Dame.

02:55Everybody else got cooked even worse.

02:59Yeah, look, I thought that, and we're going to talk about them next, I thought SMU had

03:03the worst performance of the weekend, and Tennessee, SMU and Tennessee really got their

03:09ass beat in those games.

03:11I mean, they were just up and down all over the place, and I didn't think that was Indiana.

03:16I think Indiana, one half of their game wasn't there.

03:19Their offense wasn't there.

03:20I didn't think their defense was awful.

03:23I just thought that they were doing all they could, and Notre Dame leaned on them, and

03:28there wasn't much that could happen.
