00:00Groundbreaking for the Maternity and Children's Hospital in Dagupan City.

00:05The Department of Health was led by Sara Cayabyab of Radyo Pilipinas, Dagupan, with the country's latest news.

00:13The medical service in Dagupan City was confirmed to be beautiful and in order.

00:18The groundbreaking ceremony for the Maternity and Children's Hospital in Lumsud has already started.

00:23In her message, the Department of Health under Secretary Maria Rosario Vergara

00:29highlighted the importance of building a hospital to reduce the number of mothers and babies who die

00:35due to the lack of proper and adequate medical attention.

00:38There should be no mother who dies during childbirth.

00:41We have a lot of facilities and a lot of knowledge of our countrymen

00:45on what is right for their health.

00:48That is why it is unacceptable for a mother to die during childbirth.

00:52This, in my opinion, is a solution.

00:55The DOH also hopes that the government will be able to meet the target of providing proper health services

01:01to every Filipino, especially the poor.

01:05The DOH Region 1 thanked the local government of Dagupan

01:10for their tireless support to the DOH's projects despite the challenges to start the project.

01:16Mayor Belen assured that the LGU will focus on the condition of every pregnant woman

01:22so that they can have a proper delivery and a healthy baby.

01:27Starting of their pregnancy, I will make sure that I am also involved in the hospital

01:35to make sure that the process of their delivery is taken care of until their child is born.

01:45The hospital will be built with two floors and a fund of P150 million.

01:50The residents of Lungson are hoping that the project will be serviced

01:55and that the residents of Dagupan City will be the neighbors.
