00:05to review the 2025 national budget. This to ensure the budget's alignment with key development

00:10priorities. Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Finance Secretary Ralph Recto, Budget Secretary

00:17Amena Pangandaman, DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan, and NEDA Secretary Arsenio Balisacan were included

00:24in this meeting. According to Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the scheduled signing of the 2025

00:31General Appropriations Bill on December 20 will not push through to provide more time for a more

00:37rigorous and exhaustive review. The date of the signing cannot be confirmed yet, but the official

00:42assured certain items and provisions will be vetoed in the interest of public welfare to

00:47conform with the fiscal program and in compliance with laws.
