00:00The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, or PhilHealth Board,

00:04approved a Php 284 billion corporate operating budget for 2025.

00:09The figure is 10% higher than Php 259 billion this year.

00:14Aside from this, the board also approved the Benefits Committee, or Bancom,

00:19approved increases in selected cases by as much as 50%.

00:24Meanwhile, a report from the Philippine News Agency says

00:27Department of Finance Secretary Ralph Recto believes PhilHealth not only has enough funds

00:33to meet its obligations, but can also actually even improve on its benefit packages for 2025.
