00:00The Foundation was founded to attract sustainable investments to Venice.
00:10It is the only way to save the city, which is now saved by water, thanks to the MOSE,
00:17it must also be saved from an economic point of view, that is, jobs, young people, families.
00:26This is the future of Venice.
00:29To do this, investments are needed, investments in the future, sustainable investments,
00:36investments that aim at energy, the environment, urban sustainability,
00:45sustainability from over-tourism, that is, from excess tourism.
00:50This is the task of the Foundation, to attract sustainable investments.
00:55To do this, we have put together 47 partners, between founders and co-founders,
01:02the largest scientific institutions in the city, the academies, the universities, the CNR,
01:09and then the largest multinational companies, Italian and foreign.
01:13This is our task.
01:15It is not enough to have saved, thanks to the MOSE, the physical city or the lagoon,
01:22it is necessary to save the city of the people, to keep young people in Venice,
01:28not to let them escape, to attract young people through the attraction of university campuses,
01:36therefore researchers, teachers, students, laboratories.
01:41This is our mission.
01:43We are succeeding.
01:45It is a job that will last for decades.
01:48It is a fundamental job that we can then tell the world,
01:54so that the world can reproduce it.
01:57This is our task.
01:59We have the banks, we have the publishers, we have the multinationals,
02:05we have the confindustries, we have Enel, Eni, ASNAM.
02:10It is a great satisfaction to have in the foundation the best of the Italian industry,
02:17the best of the Italian institutions, and this is the goal.
02:22To give a hand to this city, which is saved by the waters,
02:26must save its people, its population.
02:29With 2024 we had at least 100 MOSE elevations.
02:34An elevation of the MOSE means that Venice has been preserved by the high waters.
02:40From the beginning of the elevation of the MOSE, October 3, 2020, to 2024,
02:47there have been 100 elevations of the mobile barriers.
02:51So Venice has been preserved by 100 floods
02:57and has given an extraordinary sign of the future.
03:01Having this awareness, we look forward to the next decades
03:07thanks to this extraordinary work, which is the MOSE,
03:10and thanks to the work we are doing to attract sustainable investments.
