Bakers compete in Stockholm’s festive gingerbread house contest   Bakers and designers cooked up elaborate gingerbread houses as part of an annual, festive competition in Stockholm’s ArkDes museum on  December 15.   Many entries were based around the theme of ‘comeback,’ chosen by the museum, and they ranged from gingerbread cottages decorated with sweets and icing, to Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and a concert by Oasis, who announced they would hold a reunion tour in 2025.    Visitors queued to take a look at the entries, snapping pictures on phones of the elaborate, gingerbread constructions.    The people’s choice award, selected by visitors to the museum who voted for their favorite entry, was given to a group who baked a miniature version of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, detailed with colored icing and candy.
