Tarif PPN 12% Berlaku 1 Januari 2025

Pemerintah mengumumkan tetap menaikkan tarif Pajak Pertambahan Nilai (PPN) dari 11% menjadi 12% mulai 1 Januari 2025. Terdapat kelompok barang yang bebaskan dari PPN seperti sembako, jasa, pendidikan, kesehatan, tenaga kerja hingga pemakaian air.

00:36in accordance with the Law No. 7 of 2024 on harmonization of tax regulations.

00:41This was announced by Minister of Finance Erlange Hartarto and Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani,

00:47as well as Cabinet Minister Merah Putih Lainya at the PERS Conference on Economic Stimulus Package.

00:53Erlange announced that there are groups of goods that are exempted from the PPN such as tobacco, rice, meat, eggs, fish, and milk,

01:00as well as education, health, finance, labor, insurance, and water use.

01:06The value-added tax rate will increase by 12% next year starting January 1.

01:13However, the goods that are needed by the people are given 0% facilities.

01:25So, goods such as grains, rice, meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, milk, sugar consumption,

01:34education, health, public transportation, labor, finance, insurance, polio vaccine,

01:42hana, health home, and water use are all free of PPN.

01:50Erlange insisted that in maintaining the purchasing power of the people,

01:53the government will continue to provide economic policy stimulus for low-income households,

01:58namely the PPN rate will be accounted for by the government as much as 1% for basic necessities,

02:03so it will still be given 11%.

02:06Meanwhile, basic goods that will be given a PPN rate of 11% are fried oil with our oil packaging, flour, and industrial sugar.
