00:00I'm almost stuck for words, and those of you in the hall that know me probably find that hard to believe.

00:08Thank you to the Nat Rads, to MG Alba and all the sponsors.

00:14This is a fabulous night that's put on to celebrate the wonderful music, poem, dance, everything that takes place in our traditional world.

00:23So please give them all a round of thanks.

00:30It's a privilege to belong to Ardishear Folk Club. I've been involved in folk clubs since the late 1960s.

00:41And I don't look as old as that, but I have.

00:45And this is, without doubt, the best folk club I have ever been involved with.

00:49And I'd like to thank everybody who voted for us.

00:52I'd like to thank all the members of the club for bringing us wonderful evenings every Tuesday.

00:58But also to thank John Ross, because he started the club.

01:13When I started this way back in February 2017, I never thought for one second we'd be standing here.
