00:00It is expected that the number of our countrymen will increase due to the eruption of Volcano Canlaon in Negros Island.

00:08According to the Office of Civil Defense, more than 30,000 individuals are already in the evacuation centers within two days.

00:16The Office of Civil Defense Assistant Secretary, Raffy Alejandro,

00:21is in a hurry to prepare in case the situation worsens and the alert level of Volcano Canlaon rises.

00:27According to them, around 84,000 people should be evacuated in 15 barangays near the volcano.

00:34But for now, only 46% are evacuating.

00:38According to Alejandro, not all of them are going to the evacuation centers.

00:43Others are evacuating their relatives.

00:46The OCD continues to coordinate with the PNP to ensure security
