00:06and support those affected by the eruption of Mount Canlaon.

00:16Following the eruption of Mount Canlaon,

00:18President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. promised that the government is ready to help the affected families.

00:24According to the President,

00:25aside from the government's focus on the situation,

00:28he will not hesitate to help those affected by the calamity.

00:32In fact, he assured the DBM that there is enough funds to send help to those affected.

00:38First of all, I got the report from Secretary Rex Gatchalian,

00:43who landed already in Negros early this morning.

00:47DBM has already assured me.

00:50We are ready to support the families who have been evacuated outside the 6-kilometer danger zone.

00:58The DSWD has already started sending family food packs to the area,

01:02as well as other needs of the affected residents.

01:05The DNR and DOST also moved to assess the situation.

01:10So, it really erupted.

01:13DNR and DOST are continuing to monitor air quality

01:20to see if we need to do more in terms of evacuating

01:25if the toxic gases that are coming out of the volcano are dangerous.

01:41The forest evacuation inside the 6-kilometer danger zone of the volcano was also carried out.

01:49The government is also ready to increase the danger zone to 10 kilometers

01:54when the alert level 4 was raised in Mount Canlaon.
