00:00He was quite emotional, which was special.
00:04There was two parts to yesterday's visit.
00:06There was walking through the synagogue where it was quite somber and he was very respectful
00:10and met with the chief rabbi who was inside the synagogue at the time yesterday and met
00:15with him.
00:16And then afterwards we went to the president's house, which was a couple of minutes away
00:20and sat down around the table and had quite a good meeting where he promised support and
00:25told us that as a leader of the country he's there to help us and to help all Australians
00:29to really keep and create what we've had.
00:33It's important that Australia stays the way it was and you play cricket out in the garden
00:37and you have barbecues with your neighbor.
00:39That's what we want.
00:40That's what we're used to.
00:41We were very grateful that he came to our synagogue, had a walk through and stood shoulder
00:45to shoulder.
00:46It was very important to see the leader of the country standing together with us and
00:52showing the rest of Australia, the rest of the world, this is not how we behave.
00:55This is not what we do in Australia.
00:58And it was really quite amazing and very warm that he was there.
