00:00Well, this week will be an outcome of our National Planning Policy Framework, which we consulted on
00:06in July, which will streamline planning and create greater clarity that says,
00:12here's the National Planning Framework, you have to have a local plan, which means local
00:17authorities will engage, identify areas where their planning can take place, and therefore
00:23streamline so that developers can start the works. Far too often people are stuck in this local
00:29planning process, so having a plan locally alongside the guidance nationally means that
00:35we can deliver the homes we desperately need.
