Bleeding time is an important indicator, which is defined as the total time required for an incision to end a hemorrhage. The Ivy method is considered to be one of the most used methods for establishing bleeding time. The principle of the method consists in an incision in the arm with a depth of 1 mm and a length of 1 cm. With the help of this study, the first period of time necessary for platelet aggregation and primary hemostasis to begin is established.
