00:00First of all, I would like to thank SPARC Philippines, my family, my team in the local

00:10government of Baguio, and the Mayors for Good Governance.

00:13We have about 202 mayors now have joined the Mayors for Good Governance.

00:18And probably you're asking why I'm so passionate about good governance and the fight against

00:22corruption.

00:24Corruption is not pervasive in entire counties.

00:27Different level, different extent.

00:30Marami nagsasabi saking, Mayor, you will be subjected to a lot of character attentionation.

00:37And it's true.

00:39In fact, my two daughters here are even portrayed as prostitutes.

00:43My grandkids, 14-year-old and an 8-year-old, being portrayed as drug addicts.

00:50They're just so ruthless.

00:53But I'm not going to give up.

00:55I'm not going to abandon the country.

00:57And you know why?

00:59Because if I'm going to give up, it is as if I've given up on the future of our kids.

01:04I've given up on the future of our children.

01:07I've given up on the future of the young generations who are present here today.

01:13So join us in this legacy.

01:15It's the noblest legacy that we can pass on to the next generation.
