00:18Under House Bill 11048, which was passed by Batangas Representative Gervil Luistro,

00:36According to the plan, it can be implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Development

00:42As for the DSWD, beneficiaries who need aid can avail food, medical, funeral or cash relief assistance.
00:50For financial aid worth P5,000 to P15,000, it will be given in cash subject to the assessment of the DSWD.
00:59If P15,000 is exceeded, it will be paid through a guarantee letter
01:05approved by the DSWD's secret or authorized body.
01:09If the LGU implements it, it will be called Rice Assistance in cooperation with the DSWD.
01:15A qualified beneficiary will receive assistance worth P25,000 based on the suggested retail price of the Department of Agriculture.
