Pompey boss John Mousinho gives his verdict on the 2-2 Championship draw with Swansea City.

01:03see and the Swansea player takes it 15 yards ahead of where it should have

01:06been so my take to referees is don't give yourself a problem and you're gonna

01:10have a problem because I am gonna say that has been taken 10-15 yards away

01:13from where the throwing's gone out by the way it's our throw as well but I

01:16understand they make mistakes same thing happened in the second half here when

01:19there was a free kick close to the touchline the one way John got booked

01:22and of course we've got to probably tidy up our behavior in the touchlines but

01:25you know we see what we're like we feel like we're fans we're players

01:32we're everything in between and you know we we feel it yeah we've got to be

01:37better but it's just incredibly frustrating because we need a lot more

01:40than that. Nicola Schmidt's save, what can you

01:42urge a couple of them but particularly one from Liam Cully? Yeah I mean

01:45absolutely superb it looks superb in real time I haven't seen I haven't seen

01:49it back I'm sure it's gonna look even better then but yeah we need that we're

01:52gonna need players to step up and and I think Nick has come over and he's been

01:56excellent he's been really really good and I'm feeling for him that he's made that save.

02:03well. Yeah I think if we had it probably wouldn't have been deserved but yeah we

02:07we did we did nearly nick it doing doing playing sensible football and you know

02:12we hit Connor from from being a bit more direct and he won his own second

02:16ball and we're nearly through and you know on another day that goes in

02:20Did we deserve it? Probably not but I think on efforts and an endeavour and

02:25and just the sheer frustration of what it's been like this week it was I think

02:28it was really difficult to come here and sustain what we tried to do we look

02:31fresh in the first half the second half we look like a side that haven't played

02:34for three weeks and those are a few things that we hopefully gonna get over

02:38now going into the home games next week. How's Marco Mane? It took a it took a

02:42knock to his hip so I don't know he just didn't look I was sort of signalled over

02:47said are you okay he said he was fine and I saw him run for about another 10

02:50yards I knew he wasn't so we had the sub ready and yeah I thought it was

02:55obviously a shame for him I don't know I think he's not too bad but he's taken a

02:58whack to the hip. Any news with Kassini Genghis yet? No nothing yet he's in with

03:03a specialist on on Friday I haven't spoken to Steve about it there may be an

03:08update but we'll speak after and I'll give you a full update on Wednesday. Do you feel

03:12like you're learning lessons when you come to places like Sydney Championship

03:15and improving as a side and how to deal with you know you know they're gonna

03:18have times of possession you know you're gonna have moments of dominance do you feel

03:21your team is learning and dealing with them? Yeah I think that we've we've dealt

03:25with a really really good Swansea side for 46 of the 47 minutes 47 48 minutes in

03:32the first half I'm really really frustrated with the way that we

03:36conceded the goal not the cross and not the fact that it's gone in the fact that we

03:39just overplayed after going 2-0 up one minute to go to a half time I couldn't

03:43fathom what we were thinking and we get picked off and Swansea score the only

03:47time we did it in half so these are the lessons we've got to learn we've got a

03:51lot of it better we want to play a bit more football if we possibly can but this

03:54side's pressed really well with excellent athletes so we have to be wary of that

03:58we have to make sure we play to our strengths and when we did we looked a

04:01really good side when we didn't we looked a bit poor and yeah we've we've got to

04:05try and just have a lot more of the form.
