00:00It will certainly be ramping up now because it's cold and it's winter and we will start to see a

00:05lot of, you know, more people using us but we have seen a massive growth in the last two years.

00:13Since COVID we've seen a 38% increase in uses of the food bank but conversely a 10% decline in

00:22donations to the food bank because obviously a food and cost of living crisis will affect

00:27We are seeing more people come and needing food who are actually in work and they're working

00:33full-time and they can't make ends meet with the rising cost of food, the rising cost of fuel and

00:39bills. People are just struggling to be able to pay their electricity bill and put food on the

00:46table so they get to a point where they need food for themselves and their children and so they're

00:51having to rely on the food bank in order to get that help. As we're seeing a drop in donations

00:56it's meaning that we're buying in £6,000 worth of food a month and we're having to do that across

01:03the range of food bank items. But just as a sort of options for you, there's oxtail soup here,

01:10we put soup, we put tinned meat, there's packets of rice, tinned fish, there's tins of vegetables,

01:18biscuits. Particularly at the moment we're in need of tinned potatoes and packet mash

01:26and also tea bags, there's milk, cereal, pasta sauce. They've just done a few of
