00:05takeover of the security group assigned to the Vice President.

00:08He explains the Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group, or VPSPG, will be temporarily

00:14replaced because of a subpoena related to a police investigation.

00:17Colonel Raymond Dante Lachica, chief of the VPSPG, would also be replaced because he is

00:22also being subpoenaed.

00:24The Quezon City Police had filed complaints against Sara Duterte and Lachica, who was

00:28seen on a video shoving a police officer.

00:31Bronner says details of the personnel overhaul are still unavailable.

00:35The AFP chief also dismissed talk of military adventurism in his speech, apparently referring

00:40to former President Rodrigo Duterte's call for military and police intervention to protect

00:44the constitution amid what he described as a, quote-unquote, fractured government.

00:49Bronner says there are calls for the AFP to intervene in political events in our country,

00:53but that is not our job.

00:55He adds military adventurism of the past cannot happen again.
