Chilling moment leopard sneaks in and carries off sleeping dog

This is the chilling moment a sleeping dog falls prey to a leopard that makes a stealth attack at night in south India.
CCTV footage shows a few dogs sleeping at a brick kiln in Huliyur Durga village near Kunigal in Karnataka state the night of January 12.
A leopard sneaks in and quickly pounces upon one of the sleeping dogs. Though the startled dog tries to escape, it stands no chance and is carried away in an instant.
A few other dogs get up and run in different directions in fear.
Local residents complained that the leopard has been raiding their homes to carry off pets and cattle. They have demanded the forest officials trap the leopard and take it away.
