George Bennett reacts to Walsall's late draw against Bromley

George Bennett gives his take as Walsall leave it late against Bromley.

00:00Good evening Sadler's fans, I'm inside Bescott, where Walsall have just drawn 2-2 against Bromley,

00:07thanks to a dramatic late equaliser from David Ekagbewe in the final seconds of second half stoppage time.

00:16Walsall had the chance to move to within one point of league leaders Port Vale,

00:22but at least closed that gap to three points and extended their unbeaten record in league 2-6 games.

00:31Matt Sadler named two changes from the 1-0 win on the weekend at AFC Wimbledon.

00:37George Hall came in for his first start since the start of September.

00:40Jack Earing also came in as Charlie Lakin and Jamie Jellis dropped to the bench.

00:45Nathan Lowe had a great chance midway into the first half.

00:49He was sent clean for on goal by Jack Earing, who stole the ball just inside his own half and set the striker away,

00:54but he was denied a 1-1 by Bromley goalkeeper Grant Smith.

00:59Bromley had chances themselves and came close on a couple of occasions.

01:04Michael Cheat glanced one wide.

01:07Olufelo Alamola hit the post and also lashed a volley wide of the target,

01:15but Walsall took the lead five minutes before the break.

01:18David Acabria's headed clearance dissected the Bromley defence.

01:22Liam Gordon streaked away, kept his composure and rifled the ball into the roof of the net.

01:26But in the second half, Walsall looked flat and they were punished when Michael Cheat equalised.

01:31Walsall unable to clear a long throw and the ball eventually deflected his way into the path of Cheat,

01:37who lifted his finish over Simkin.

01:40Danny Imre then squeezed the ball in from an acute angle to give Bromley the lead 30 minutes from time.

01:46But in the final seconds, Taylor Allen's corner caused mayhem inside the penalty area.

01:52David Acabria, after his assist against Wimbledon and then an inadvertent assist tonight,

01:58completed what has been a special couple of weeks for him by scrambling the ball over the line to rescue a point.
