00:00Derek Carr said last week that he wants the team to maintain its momentum so Derek can
00:04have his very best shot at getting the job full-time.
00:07Demario, I understand that you've got a job to do and you're worried about that job, but
00:11would you like to see him ultimately get that interim label lifted and get that job full-time?
00:15Yeah, I think so.
00:19I think Derek hit the nail on the head.
00:21I think everybody has appreciated him as a head coach, and he's auditioning for the head
00:29coaching job, and I know our organization likes to have a lot of continuity and keep
00:36things as consistent as possible, with as little change as possible, that's just part
00:43of our culture because it's been so successful.
00:47And I think that if we can take care of business on the field, it is going to give him a really
00:51good shot, because I know that regardless of how the season finishes up, somebody's
00:58going to be looking to snatch him up quick, and so hopefully he stays in the building
01:04with us.
01:05But I think a lot of part of that is how the season finishes.
