00:00Let's have a conversation about the extended absence of Derek Carr, I almost want to keep

00:08saying David Carr in my head, extended absence of Derek Carr, and what that means to the

00:12pieces on this New Orleans team.

00:15Yeah, that's a big problem, and I think those two pieces, most notably Kamara and Chris

00:20Olavi, are ones that you really have to consider, are they at their peak value?

00:24Now, coming into the season, I was very big on Alvin Kamara.

00:27I thought that they were going to be using him a ton, and they have, and that usage has

00:30been great.

00:31The only problem is he is an older running back, so I do have concerns in the latter

00:35part of the season what that's going to look like, and if Derek Carr is going to miss a

00:38couple weeks here, how many scoring opportunities does Alvin Kamara get besides making his own

00:42with an incredible, you know, breakaway run or catch?

00:46That becomes a little bit more difficult.

00:47How many times is Spencer Rattler going to move the chains here?

00:51I think that's a big question mark here, when the offense collectively starts to play below

00:57average, the fantasy points kind of go with it.

01:00So there might be a mindset in the marketplace where people look at it and say, well, they're

01:04going to have to use Alvin Kamara more, and that's fine.

01:07They might, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's going to equate to fantasy points, because

01:11right now you're in a situation where the execution of those moments is in question,

01:16and that is the big declining right now.

01:19I know it's hard to come by running backs.

01:20I'm not trying to just get rid of them, but it is intriguing to put them out there on

01:23the block and see what you can get for Alvin Kamara.

01:25What are your thoughts on Kamara's workload this year?

01:28And also, you know, what this offense might look like without Mr. Carr?

01:32Well, it's funny, because you're reading my mind here.

01:35I want to put it out there to the listeners of Kamara managers out there.

01:38Would you do a Kamara for, say, Brees Hall straight up?

01:41See, I don't think they would.

01:42I think they enjoy the touchdowns.

01:44I think they enjoy the production, and I do understand the concern about the quarterback

01:48switch, but again, we talked about it earlier in the show.

01:50When you have a quarterback with questionable play, you start to look at three positions,

01:53and one of them is the running back position.

01:56So I think that Kamara may be in a situation where he may be even more valuable for this

01:59team, may be even more beneficial to be a Kamara manager right now, but I'm interested

02:15Yes, I would prefer to have Brees Hall rest of season than Alvin Kamara.

02:18I'd rather have the younger running back, and look, that might be a move in casual leagues

02:22when people just look at it statistically and go, well, yeah, I'm going to smash this.

02:26This is a no-brainer.

02:27Kamara's played much better, but I think going forward, you're going to get a better version

02:30of Brees Hall.

02:32Chris Olave is the other guy, too, in this offense I want to move on from.

02:35I wasn't high on him coming into the year.

02:36I thought he was limited in terms of touchdown capability, and he only had, I think, five

02:41last year, or six.

02:42No, five.

02:43I was right the first time.

02:45And so far this year, he's been wide receiver 36.

02:47He was being drafted as a 1A, and to me, he's more of a 2-ish wide receiver at this

02:53stage with the quarterback play that he's got in the offense he's in.

02:57Now the downgrade in quarterback happens.

02:59Now my concerns continue to grow for how good Chris Olave can be.

03:02Now maybe you can move him off name brand value.

03:04It's possible.

03:05And by weeks, people get in crunches.

03:07But Brian Thomas Jr., Wandel Robinson, George Pickens, Tank Dell, I think you could flip

03:14Chris Olave for Tank Dell Plus.

03:16And I think you might like what you see in the next four weeks more with Tank Dell than

03:21you see with Chris Olave.

03:22So those are two saints to be moving on from.
