00:00The National Wages and Productivity Commission approved wage order number RBIX23,

00:06raising the daily minimum wage in the Zamboanga Peninsula by P33 effective December 12, 2024.

00:13The minimum wage will be P414 for non-agriculture and P401 for agriculture workers.

00:21The wage order will benefit 95,990 minimum wage earners and help 129,607 full-time workers

00:31through wage distortion corrections. NWPC also instructed RTWPB9 to promote

00:39compliance and productivity improvement programs. Enterprises with 10 or fewer workers and those

00:45impacted by calamities can apply for exemptions while BMBEs are exempt from the law.
